VINTAGE ADIDAS
Adidas is one of the most popular sports brands worldwide - and even comes from Germany! The brand has been a top outfitter and sponsor for football teams such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or even the national teams for years, but also for the American NHL ice hockey league and in tennis. But why is Adidas so popular? The answer is very simple: If you are looking for high-quality sportswear for a wide variety of sports and sports shoes, but also functional clothing or leisurewear and accessories such as watches and glasses, then you have come to the right place at Adidas. In addition, you rarely do anything wrong with fashion from Adidas - the pieces with the characteristic 3 stripes are timeless, classic and can be combined with many different parts. They give your outfit the sporty spice and the necessary pinch of nonchalance! But where does the world label come from? Let's do a little digression into the history of the brand and dive into the Adidas world...
Storytime: The Story of Adidas
When the brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler founded the "Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik" in 1924, neither of them could have guessed what enormous success they would have with their passion. The brothers, who couldn't be more different, Rudolf, the extroverted businessman, and Adolf, the introverted skilled craftsman, produced special sports and running shoes and complemented each other perfectly with their different personalities. Among other things, they invented the first soccer shoes with cleats – and in 1928 the Dassler shoes were used for the first time at the Olympic Games. After that, many different shoe models for very different sports were produced, including tennis shoes. But as the saying goes: you should stop when it's most beautiful. As quickly as the brothers' shoe factory experienced its glow-up and rise, the dream was destroyed again. The Second German World War forced the brothers to become members of the Hitler Youth and cease shoe production as one of the last in the country so that their sites could be used to manufacture weapons. After the war, shoe production got going again, but the brothers finally went their separate ways and Rudolf Dassler founded the Puma company in 1948, while Adolf Dassler resumed the “Adi Dassler adidas Sportschuhfabrik” in 1949. On the same day, Adolf Dassler patented a shoe model, the 3 stripes and the brand name, which were first printed on clothing in 1967. The brothers suddenly went from being partners to fierce competitors. Adi Dassler began to support German football athletes more and more, which is why his brand went uphill. At the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland, the “Miracle of Bern”, for example, he kitted out the German national soccer team. Numerous other orders strengthened the brand of Adi Dassler and gave him and his brand the glorious rise. In 1971, the trefoil was introduced as an additional logo for adidas casual wear and replaced in 1997 by the three bars - a trademark symbolizing the obstacles and challenges that need to be overcome in sport. It is not for nothing that Adidas is still one of the most innovative and influential brands worldwide, which has established itself through professional craftsmanship, performance and expertise.

We say it again and again because it's just like that: sportswear is no longer only intended for sports, but is nowadays combined with streetwear at least as often. And also in the vintage scene: The characteristic Adidas design with the 3 stripes or bars from the 80s and 90s is absolutely wild as an embroidered logo on sweaters and hoodies or T-shirts and gives your outfit a characteristic sporty touch and casual charm. You still need your it-piece for the winter? You rarely go wrong with an Adidas Puffy Jacket or another vintage Adidas jacket. Especially great at Adidas, whether outdoor or sports fashion - you will never be disappointed by the quality and the good material of the clothing.
